I spent today sorting out some of the boxes of things that my dad gave me. This is only an iota of what mom has collected over the years.
The small bowl lid is filled with old pieces of jewelry and old rhinestones that I will be able to us on my cards.
There are still 4 rooms in her shop that will have to find a place, but I told Dad that it would have to wait until my new craft room is added on here.
There were gazillons of gem stones that have filled spice jars and now I want to go to yard sales to look for odd bottles to store them in. I do have some already, but not nearly enough.
Since I have to share the huge room as a bedroom also, I took some units and divided the space.
Not sure what I can make with the holeless beads but will search the internet for something.
I actually felt like mom was here while I sorted----felt like a little girl going through her mom's jewelry box. Mom definately was compulsive, but I had no idea it was that bad. I may never have to buy another charm, bead, gem, or findings---only glue and cardstock and of course any new tools that make crafting easy.
This will also enable me to do lots of RAKs and doing lots of altering. I still have lots more sorting to do, but I have cards that need to be done---Christmas will be here before I know it.
Brenda's shop is due to open on November 1st. Everything is in order and the contractors will be taking out walls and building dressing rooms.
Well it's 2 in the morning and I am going to sleep. Going to my dad's next week to help him with some paper work and writing a new will and just keeping him company. Have a great weekend everyone and thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes. Hugs, Pat

Wow look at all your craft supplies!
YOur holeless beads... wrap them in wire!
Jackie, they are too tiny to wrap wire around them. I think they are the kind that you glue onto something. I hope you are doing okay. Big Hugs, Pat
I think the holeless beads you would use with that special double sided craft tape (don't know what it's called but have read about it somewhere on the internet) or maybe even a light smear of glue to just stick a whole lot of them en masse onto something...like the lower edge of a card or an item...looks like an aladdins cave & those bright shiny bits & pieces.

How special!! I love to use things that once belonged to my Mom. Maybe you could use the 'holeless' beads to glue onto something. I have seen them glued into flowers for wedding bouquets.
Goodness, that is fabulous!! I bet you'll be busy busy busy creating all kinds of goodies now :)
Hi Pat:
You are doing really great with your organizing!!! I like how it is looking. You will have fun and it will probably inspire you even more using your Mom's items!!!
How cool.
Big Hugs
