I'm learning to rubber stamp

Well I am taking the plunge and giving it a shot at rubber stamping. I know I've got a long way to go, but I'll get there, probably with lots of mistakes, but I figure mistakes are better than not trying. I think I could get hooked on this as I did with beading and stitching. Any criticism will be taken as a lesson and I am a willing student.

Well, your rubber stamped cards look great to me. That is also an area of craft that I haven't really gotten into either, though as with everything I do have a small collection of ink pads, rubberstamps, embossing powders & the heat gun - just haven't really done anything with it all...

Thanks Nettie, I really enjoyed making them and it is faster than beading and stitching. Now if I can get good enough like Rita and Pat and some of the other stamper blogs, then I will really feel good.

Pat I think you are doing great!!! They are lovely!! I think possibly you learn as you go with stamping and sometimes you need to do it so much that you get bored with it in order to think hmmmm Now what can I do or how can I do something different. It is a fascinating hobby and I am always learning... Have fun!!! And don't be so critical as your work is gorgeous!!!

I have to say you did a great job on your cards. I have to get going myself and get good enough to do a class again... I've got one tomorrow night and don't have one card ready for it...lol

Your rubber stamped cards look great! Like the others, I do not know why you are so hard on yourself. You are very talented with making cards of anykind~

You have been so busy, GrannyPat! Love those tongue depressers as well - how's the move going, is it done?

Thanks everyone for the great compliment and yes Carol, I am my worst critic.
Smoochie, I have finished moving and miss Al a lot but it will get better.
You know I'm going to be in Vancouver next month and maybe we can meet. Chris said she would love to drive to Tacoma. Just let me know.
