Wonderful Birthday Gift

Yesterday, I couldn't have asked for a better gift and that is my girlfriend is doing well. I talked with her this morning and she had a new sound to her voice. She went through the surgery fine and is expected to go home tomorrow. It was a blood clot on her brain stem and the doctors think it had been there since birth or childhood. Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift. I have to say I was so afraid for her, but got through the day with prayers. She is still having problems with her hand shaking, but hopefully that will pass. Thank you all for the birthday wishes on Facebook and the prayers. Linda said to tell all of my blogging friends, "thank you".

As soon as she is well enough, we are all going out to lunch. One of the girlfriends that I lost contact with will be joining us and I have not seen her in nearly 45 years and she has not changed as far as her picture goes. She is the sweetest little friend and I remember all the sleep outs we had, including at Linda's. We had some wonderful times together and I see Linda often enough to know what is going on in her life.. Again, I can't thank you all enough and Jesus for getting her through this ordeal.
