Here is the ring that my dad put in my hand. I am the oldest daughter and he wanted me to have it. We found her original wedding ring and the band was so worn that it was split, so we are going to make a charm for him to wear on a chain under his clothes.

How sweet. My Father gave me all of my Mothers jewelry including her wedding ring. I wear it on my right hand almost every day.
