I'll be awol here for about a week

Well I hate to take a vacation, because it's really not a vacation, but AWOL. I have a craft room that is filled with boxes and needs to be put away. There are still some in the living room and it's really getting to me, because I don't like crafts in other parts of my little cottage. I will take the time out to visit my favorites blogs, but will have nothing new to post right now. I want to get finished so I can get back to my life. The dreaded Mammogram and colonoscopy is this month and I hate both. At least they put you out for the second one. I don't know why it hurts so bad when I have my boobs smashed like pancakes, but I do it anyway, since I have 3 aunts who have had mastectomies from malignant breast cancer and my mom's twin sister died from colon cancer, so I get screened every 5 years now, unless they find polyps again.

I want to work on some giveaways and had the perfect thing to do for Valentine's Day, but due to so many deaths in our family, it got here too fast. I even forgot to send my beautiful daughter her birthday card early. Shame on me, but I know she will understand (Sorry Sweetie).

Well I am going to put my punches away, then call it a night. Have a fun and great week. Deena, I am going to keep checking in on you and hope that this Friday is the day you can start your chemo. Big hugs and prayers to everyone. Pat

Hi Pat,
Just a quick note to let you know I understand about the AWOL!!! I too, need to get my life somewhat in order and both you and I deserve the much needed break after the year we have had.
I will send your treasures to you but not until after I have new treasures on the website for you to look at. You still have a bit to go!!!
Hugs and Love Girlfriend,
Amy (Mom to the Four Sisters)

I hope you get a lot done! Enjoy sorting out your craft stuff as progress always makes a person feel good. The dreaded medical visits...but they must be taken care of. Thank you for visiting me and signing up for my giveaway. Hope life slows down a little for you and take time to breathe. There are always so many things we think we need to do. Just concentrate on the must dos....and like I said, breathe!

thanks for dropping by everyone. It has been a long week and still unpacking---glad I don't have to carry all this to my dad's house---at least not until we empty it. Hugs, Pat

Hi Pat! Thanks so much for visiting my blog. :) About putting that ribbon in the heart pillow, I had a hard time at first but you get the hang of it. You sort of thread it under the loops and then pull up ribbon loops and make them into a triangle. I know that makes no sense LOL
